TRIVIA: WE PUT A BIRD ON IT

That’s right, bird nerds: Grab a few members of your flock, study your favorite field guides, and get ready to add “played bird trivia” to your life list, because we’re devoting an entire trivia night to our favorite feathered friends. “Bird brain” is no longer an insult — it’s a requirement.

Whether you’re a fledgling in the birding hobby, an avid avian expert, a Wingspan addict, or just someone who thinks birds are neat and wants to learn more about them, we’ve hatched a whole clutch of great bird questions just for you.

RULES OF THE ROOST

• Trivia starts promptly on time, and you know what they say about birds who show up early. Pick your favorite location from the venues below and fly there to guarantee your spot.

• Whether you’re a gaggle, a parliament, or a murder, your group is limited to six players.

• All bird trivia events will use the Trivia Mafia app, so bring a fully charged phone or your goose will be cooked.

• We’ll run the same questions at all locations. Don’t double dip, or you’ll ruffle some feathers.

• Our eagle-eyed hosts will be on the lookout for cell phone misuse. Be like the wise owl and use only your bird brains when answering questions. Cheaters will be plucked and roasted.
