A once popular style brewed in response to the trend of pale lagers out of Germany, Vienna lagers lost popularity in the late 19th/early 20th century. Vienna lagers are slowly gaining in popularity as more beer drinkers discover this bready, toasty beauty. Very minimal hop presence/bitterness if any, this beer is a showcase for the toastiness of Vienna and Munich malts. Smooth, lightly sweet, and finishing slightly dry. Pours a light amber color with a white head.
